Advertisements, Promotions, and Other E-mails from the AOL® Instant Messenger™ Service(AIM®)
AIM sends e-mails relating to your AIM user registration, such as software upgrades, billing, legal, and security-related information. AIM may also send advertisements or solicitations for commercial products and services from the AIM and its affiliates, such as AOL Service, love.com, CompuServe Service, and Netscape Premium Services promotions. Additionally, you can also sign up to receive features and services powered by e-mail.
 
AIM provides opt-out or other unsubscribe methods in its commercial e-mail communications. These opt-out mechanisms do not, however, apply to e-mails relating to your AIM or Netscape Service registration, or e-mails confirming or informing you about your transactions on or with AIM.
