AIM for Mac will allow you to select your own Buddy sounds, wallpaper and animated Buddy Icons from the AIM Expressions library.
You can now use your built-in iSight camera to create a new Buddy Icon. Once you have your image selected, you will be able to apply a special image effect for a uniquely customized Buddy Icon.
You can now save your IMs! You can view your IM logs using your default browser and you can use Mac OS X Spotlight for easy searching. Go to Preferences to turn on Conversation Logging.
You'll need a PowerPC G4 or Intel Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.8 (and above) or Mac OS X 10.5.3 (and above) as a minimum. We recommend 256 MB of physical RAM and 40 MB of available hard disk space.
AIM for Mac was designed to work with Apple's VoiceOver on both Tiger and Leopard. You can navigate, review IM conversations and get your Buddy's status. On Mac OS X Leopard, we support the new natural-sounding voice - Alex.
Send and receive messages over WiFi EDGE, or 3G networks while connecting to anyone on the AIM network worldwide, whether they're on AOL®, AIM®, ICQ®, .Mac or MobileMe. You can even send IMs and SMS text messages - including from an iPod touch (iPod touch only supports WiFi, SMS text messaging not available in all countries).
