AIM Windows Problems

"Procedure entry point RealMemAlloc could not be located in the dynamic link library oscore.dll"
error message

If you are getting the error message, "Procedure entry point RealMemAlloc could not be located in the dynamic link library oscore.dll," take the following steps:

  1. Download the most recent installer here.
  2. Once the download is complete, launch the downloaded file.
  3. Install AIM into a different directory than you were previously using.
  4. Once you have verified that you are able to successfully use the new installation of AIM, you can delete the old AIM directory.
